We're big believers in trees.

If her mom or dad can't be at the game, they have to furnish a nurse or she isn't allowed to play. We haven't run into that problem yet, but we all just have to coordinate on it.

Her parents are really good about watching her, especially her dad, because he's also diabetic. They're really on her about 30 or 40 minutes before game time - checking the sugar, seeing if she's low or high and making adjustments.
