We're a young ball club. The biggest thing we've been trying to get our kids to do is to fight through the bad things on the ball field. I was proud of how they fought through them tonight.

Coming into a new system, and having to teach the kids a new system takes a while to execute.

We're a little bit perplexed about what they're doing, to be honest. We're trying to be reasonable about this. We don't want to do anything super-aggressive here.

[Marquette's] another one of those guys who hasn't had a tremendous amount of football experience, but we're working on getting him tougher, and we're real pleased with how well he's been responding.

We want to make sure these kids aren't held up.

You do what you gotta do. This is not heart surgery. I'm not curing cancer. I'm just trying to put my kids through school.
