Well, there is some priority decision-making that will have to be done by the board when we re-adopt the long-range transportation plan next year.

We'll all be watching the vote. It's a very important vote. Hopefully, the decision will be made in the best interest of taxpayers.

This is an important decision that affects all Clark County taxpayers.

The problem that we're facing is not unique to Hernando County. All 67 counties in the state are facing this issue of dramatically increased costs and not enough revenue to maintain levels of service.

The problem is that the costs are accelerating faster than our fees are accelerating.
