We'll take the win, but we know we can play better.

I knew we were going to be a great defensive team. As long as we keep our D up, I don't think anybody can stop us in the CVAC.

When we first came out (in the second half), we lost a little of that intensity.

It's disappointing that we lost. But we got outplayed. Based on the way we played, we didn't deserve to play for the state title.

The guys wanted to be put in a position to play quality opponents. This group is not going to back down from anyone. The way we look at it, the better teams prepare us for area play.

We're doing all the hard things but we're not doing all the easy things. We need to rebound, play with heart and intensity. We can't just be a 20-minute team.
