We'll have to see what happens, but there's only so much you can cut before it impacts the quality of education. I don't think anyone wants to see that.

We are excited about the upcoming essay contest for Henderson County's third and seventh graders. Each year the quality as well as the quantity of essays increases as teachers make it part of their Black History Month focus for their students.

We hit the ball real well and had some good quality at-bats. We got off to a nice start and made it easier for (pitcher) Donnie (Potter) and our defense.
