We were very proud. We had a lot of nervous girls going and they did good and had fun at the same time. The girls were pleased with their finish as well as the coaches.

Earlier in the season Patrick Henry beat us. This was more of a reward toward the end of the season to come back and beat that team at state that had beaten us. It put us one more notch higher.

These girls have continued to persevere and improve despite some injuries. Nikki was competing in the all-around. Now she may be on one event for the end of the season.

It?s a little detrimental to the average gymnast. There are going to be a lot lower scores for the average gymnast, but it will separate ones with the requirements and show their talent a little more.

I believe in lieu of the Katrina situation last week it is even more important that we are prepared and we practice in case a real situation occurs,

The faculty will be a little more relaxed this semester, because we know that problems are inevitable.
