We were in a black hole. There was nothing. The generator at the police department broke down. For a while we were without 911. Cell phones didn't work.

I think their (police officers) chances of surviving a potential shoot-out are greatly increased with the vests. Their lives are more protected.

Through being a bowler and then a police officer for nine-plus years, I have become friends with most of the staff at Limerick Bowl.
