We were hoping for a miracle, but we knew she wasn't skating so well. The word she used yesterday was 'embarrassing.' It's not what this girl can do.

I remember how Bob skated very, very bad in Salt Lake. I know his parents well, and I remember hugging his mom for about 10 minutes when she was crying, having to console her. So if it's not Chad, then I'm happy for him to win.

I think he saw his opportunity to do an Armstrong. Chad just took off like no one I've ever seen.

She's laid back, but we all know she can step up when she wants to. In the big competitions, she always skates well. She WILL skate well at these Olympics.

For a rookie, he did pretty good with a gold, silver and bronze. I think he learned a ton.

Of course, he's upset. But he couldn't blame anybody and didn't want to blame anybody. When he loses, he blames himself.
