We were getting up more shots than [Fordham]. We play a high tempo game that leads to a lot of fast breaks and shots off turnovers. If we start making a few more shots than we could outscore anyone.

I didn't play it with the Florida Orchestra but with its predecessor, the Florida Gulf Coast Symphony, under Irwin Hoffman in 1980. It has been a long and very nice association.

[The team] really stepped up their intensity and played intelligently down the stretch. Every win makes us head in the right direction. It's always a good feeling to get a win after you haven't won in a while.

I'm sure the turnover situation is not what I or Coach Peck wanted. But it can be attributed to the defense being played.

We've typically started games slowly and methodically stuck to our game. Everybody is pretty excited to play us. We've been resilient.
