We were coming back (in 2002) and not a lot of guys were heralded as big time players and we were flying under the radar. Things start happening, we gain some momentum, win a couple of big ball games, you never know.

Defensively, the kids came ready to play.

I know it sparks me. Just seeing him run around and be a goof. He hits people, fights people, then jokes about it in the locker room. He's a character guy, an energy guy.

Just all muscle-related stuff in my neck and back. Nothing was broken, thank God.

Hopefully, with a combination of the guys who do return and the freshmen, we'll come up with that right chemistry, that type of closeness and oneness that great teams have.

Offensively, we just didn't execute at the level that we needed to. There were too many bad snaps and too many guys taking wrong steps, and that's a problem. And we just didn't play with the intensity that we needed to.
