We want to provide something that will make people think, which is the point of theater - to broaden people's minds.

At the high school level, we want to play it safe; we don't want to alienate the audience. We wanted to provide some challenge or something different.

We're going through rebirth right now. And the school has offered a lot of support.

I would definitely go back and do theater; I talk about theater all the time.

I expect some people will walk out of the theater. But I don't want to be timid. I want to treat the disaster genre realistically. That's what makes it effective and truly scary.

It's educational, but it's also a lot of fun, too. Hopefully, people will go away with a more sympathetic attitude toward the wild animals they do encounter.
