We walked beside each other, talking about things we should have been least concerned about. But at that moment, it was those things that kept me alive.

Little things please little minds.

The small things of life were often so much bigger than the great things . . . the trivial pleasure like cooking, one's home, little poems especially sad ones, solitary walks, funny things seen and overheard.

While getting lost in all those little things that seem so important, don't forget the little things that matter...

People think of these eureka moments and my feeling is that they tend to be little things, a little realisation and then a little realisation built on that.

The things of substance are the things that we need to focus on, but they are the things that seem to be the least substantive of all.
