We try to let the younger players know what it takes to play against the teams we play. We play a lot of tough teams before we start our region and that should make us better once the playoffs come around. We want them to learn to play our system now instead of later in the year.

I know I have to work harder and try to develop my game more if I want to be mentioned with those three players. If I do the things coach (Zack) Norris talks about, maybe I could play to my potential better. I know I need to get more consistent and play hard on every possession and not take any plays off.

Wait. Is a real, live adult person actually asking me details about the games I play? This is unheard of.

But I'm a big believer that government does not have a monopoly on good ideas.

As governor, I'm spending my time focused in three areas: creating jobs, reducing the expense of government and schools.

My focus on the budget, though, has played second fiddle to what I believe is even more important - creating jobs.
