We thought we got stronger as the game went on, but you can't wait that long. They did a nice job of holding us down.

It wasn't as good as I thought it would be, but we got some good responses from everybody. You always like to see a good turnout but we're making steps in the right direction. I hope it's the first wave of many more to come.

Give Grand Rapids a lot of credit. That was a very good team that beat us tonight. But we just couldn't hit the net. We had good chances, but we'd shoot just high or just wide. It was a bad night for that to happen to us.

If you give up 14 shots, you think you're going to win by a goal or two or three.

They never went away. They really kept working hard and kept coming at us.

We don't go down. That's not fair to all the tradition of this place.
