We tested these products by putting ice cubes in them then placing the submerged ice cubes into a freezer to see how effective they were at melting the ice.

This shredder was by far the faster shredder we tested. It shreds a sheet of paper in under three seconds. It also has a sensor around the mouth that senses if fingers are around it and shuts the shredder down.

A thicker layer of ice requires some manual labor, so we tested the latest ice scrapers. We did this by freezing water to the bottom of the pan and then scraping that ice off with the ice scrapers we were testing.

We wanted to see how many pages could be shredded once. So, we shredded the maximum amount of pages before the shredders jammed.
