We talked about how well we had to come out against Mesa Vista. They played so well against Mora, we didn't want to lose to them, as well.

We talked about stepping up our play. We wanted to make sure we left this gym with a win.

We didn't want them to go to state. We were excited about them getting beat, and that's pretty much what we talked about on the bus ride home.

They did a good job of defending me. They played me tough the whole game. I didn't know I had scored 15 points. I am just glad we won the game.

It amazes me how fast kids catch on to the game. The progress they make is incredible. And one thing is for sure, we'll have a lot of fun.

One of my co-workers Rob Campbell played lacrosse in college and was always talking about it. He taught me the rules, the terminology and pretty soon I thought it might be kind of fun to introduce the game to kids in Pueblo.
