We talked a lot about finishing a defensive stand.

We talked to the guys about having a good [defensive] stand, and they were able to do it.

We suffered three losses early in the season when we were injured and just not playing as a team. We've obviously played much better basketball since then.

The shot was intended to go to her. Becky made a beautiful but difficult pass. Ruth caught it, had somebody hanging on her but hit the shot.
