We take the concept of corporate responsibility seriously and think it deserves more than lip service. For Audubon Condominium at Feather Sound we chose to align with the Make-A-Wish-Foundation because they do such a remarkable job in making wishes come true for children with life-threatening medical conditions.

By contributing to Tampa Bay Watch we're playing a part in protecting and preserving the fragile nature of the environment that surrounds us.

If you're just imitating the original, your version has no reason to exist. But sometimes, you can go too far. We once did a dark, distorted Jesus and Mary Chain-type version of Steely Dan's 'Do It Again' that got us nothing but a lot of blank stares.

For lack of a better word, we jammed a bit in the studio, which is something we've never done before. I think the record will end up being a combination of doing it the way we've always done it and trying different stuff like that.

It was originally billed as acoustic but I think we'll do it as a full band, with somebody playing an acoustic guitar.

We're going to try to ask a bunch of friends to play on it. They've put out some records (in recent years), but we really want to do something that gets back to sounding like the classic stuff they did. There's a whole bunch of people our age who love those songs even if they don't necessarily know they're by America.
