We stressed to the kids the right way to do things. We talked about the negative effects and why you don?t want to do steroids. It?s cheating -- and certainly not a way to improve yourself.

While we respect the right of business to operate in the city, we would expect the committee to act responsibly and locate this enterprise away from residential areas.

It's working out. The talent's great. The kids are great. Adidas is good about making sure the best interests of the Derby Festival Classic always come first. They haven't strong-armed us in any way.
