We still have quite a bit of pessimism right now. That's conducive to further rallying.

There are still signs that Scotland is faring better than the U.K. as a whole, with pessimism among businesses less widespread and new order levels rising.

The underlying fundamentals remain decent, but the pessimism is getting higher. The biggest hindrance right now is oil prices, part and parcel with Iraq.

Sometimes it's just being able to get sufficient quantities or having the right stock on the shelf at the right time. We also face styles constantly changing or being discontinued. Each new style means a different last, which means different fitting characteristics. The size scales vary greatly from style to style and company to company. You've got to stay sharp to be a good fitter.
