We still have a lot things to work on. It's coming around. Our defense played great and our special teams did a good job of setting up scores. It's going to take a while.

To be pretty honest, we're pretty surprised. But we're not as surprised about it as much as people outside of Haines City are.

We overcame those mistakes. Lake Region played hard. Our kids were really up for this game. It's a good start.

We started working the ball, not getting in a rush, pinning them on defense, making them work on the defensive end. We got what we wanted. We got a lot of open shots and inside play.

Our pressure defense really started to work. We didn't let Morgan settle into their offense and when we forced a turnover, we converted on the other end.

I just tried to hit spots and let my defense work for me. They came through.
