We started with singles today because of the weather forecast. Unfortunately, we came out flat and never got into our rhythm.

Both are very solid players, aggressive baseliners who can come in to the net. I think they'll be able to help our doubles lineup and they have big serves.

We finished second last year (at the Big West tournament), and we've made it to the finals five years in a row. We've been working pretty hard since Jan. 15. We're running them hard, and we're eager to get started.

We're tuning up the doubles and see who works well together.

All is well. It's been a great season so far. The weather has cooperated, although today is less than spectacular.

I'm glad the weather has changed today. It has been the most challenging disasters we have ever dealt with, not just in this region, but in the whole United States.
