We saw some selling early in the day particularly on some of the big mining stocks but most traders were willing to sit on their positions and look for further upside.

BHP opened stronger and continued to push higher throughout the day as traders scrambled to get on board as the stock continues to break record high after record high.

We have seen a lot of traders buying on pull backs but then taking small profits as the market recovers rather than sitting on their positions waiting for a big market move.

Showing up every day isn't enough. There are a lot of guys who show up every day who shouldn't have showed up at all.

This is a very black day for the White House, and it's going to be very hard for the president to dig out of this. Bush is in trouble. He is going to have a difficult time moving any part of his domestic agenda.
