We relate this to March Madness. And the girls were totally prepared for it.

There has been a lot of positive feedback from students interested in showing off their dance moves at DDR Madness. I hope that we can continue to hold more tournaments and that this becomes a bigger, better event next time.

Our girls were upset after watching Louisville during pre-game. I didn't have to say much to them after that, I knew we were going to ready. They couldn't wait to get out onto the court. I don't think Louisville came in here expecting us to play that well.

The girls are very excited. They don't take anything for granted. They're working hard because they know their job isn't done yet. They have a goal in mind and they want to reach that goal. It's very exciting to see their accomplishments.

It was an eye-opener for them. The length of the course was very tough. None of the girls hit for distance yet. There was also hills and water.

Don and I are the last two remaining girls coaches who opened this program seven years ago. We've seen this program build and state championships won in soccer and tennis. We said, 'Wouldn't it be great to happen for us, as well.' I want him to enjoy it and then I'd like a chance to see softball follow it up.
