We rarely saw him. A couple months would go by without us seeing him. He was reclusive.

He was extremely reclusive. If I saw him once every two months, that was a lot.

We didn't see anything. We didn't hear anything. His window shades were always down.

What this seems to tell us is, whatever the conditions were that allowed for a good recruitment index last year are persisting this year.

It has brought us closer together.
