We put in work all season. Not just during the basketball season. We work hard during the basketball season but then, we hardly take any time off.

One of two things was going to happen at that point. They were going to make a run at us, or we would stop them. We came out firing.

Every since you were little you dreamed of winning one state title. Now we have two. It's unbelievable.

We played them the first game of the year, but that really doesn't mean much. (At that time), both teams are rusty and don't have our game plans on yet. They are a good team. We've been watching them all season. There is a reason they are in the state championship. We will definitely have to bring our 'A' game.

At the start we tried to get back on defense as fast as we could because we saw in the last game they were beating the other team down the court and getting fast break points. They did a little, but we slowed them down and got our tempo going.

A lot of teams try to slow us down. At the half, we just decided we had to play our kind of game. It was a good character builder.
