We put a lot of emphasis on all of the conference events. So it's nice to have the conference indoor title behind us. Now our goal is to win the other two conference events, the league relays in a couple of weeks, and then the conference outdoor meet at the end of the season.

Previously the emphasis was 'we'll do what we have to do, and it's nice to have allies', but now it's seen as essential to what we are trying to do.

We had the first-game jitters. We had a lot of guys who were playing their first-ever indoor game. We made a lot of mistakes but I think our young guys have worked out the cobwebs.
