We prayed every day and also our church and people who don't even know us came to the hospital and prayed with us.

The doctors told us that unless he recovered significantly, it was unlikely that he would ever get a transplant. At one point, we felt that we were at the end of the road, but the doctors and nurses never gave up.

He's smiling again, eating, waving and saying 'hi' to the doctors and nurses.

Those of us who are soldiers day in and day out, have been kept from table because the church is in conflict and our kids are still dying.

Some people go to church. We shoot. It's the same type of get-together. To us, this is our sport. This is what we like to do.

If we can get enough church people involved, we can alleviate the bad stuff. It takes all of us working together.
