We played in Texas about a year ago, at Emo's, the famous country and western club in Austin. And I figured, well, if I'm finally gonna die onstage, that's where it's going to be!

I played with Arthur Godfrey for about a year and a half.

Earlier this year against this club, he played well. It's something that I think was important for him to do after last year. Right now, I think with all of the criticism he's gotten, that's pretty much behind him. He's certainly a big-game guy.

Don't forget this club nearly went out of extinction last year.

You've seen the way the club played at the end of the year. A lot of other clubs with similar problems that we had and that sort of thing, the individuals he has to deal with here, a lot of other teams would have collapsed. A lot of people think we collapsed; we just got beat by a better team.

It's easy for me to say that now, now I'm a father, I've got a four-and-a-half year old boy, I'm a different person. Well, I'm still the same person, but I'm different.
