We played hard until the end, ... Lots of props go out to the young kids. They showed a lot of heart and didn't quit.

You use this plastic thing that has cutouts. It might be hard for younger kids to hold down the stencil so it doesn't move, but it's fun helping them.

Like all kids, they need that. Kids with disabilities are no different. They just want to be on the track, and on the bus with the teammates. It's not about winning, it's about participating.

On Sunday, with the five to six hours of sunlight that we got, the Kids Section really came into full swing. I know the kids really enjoyed the games. The non-profit groups came out along with the other vendors, so it turned out to be a productive day.

We've actually had two or three of these and out of the funds we've raised, we've helped 283 kids go to camp that financially wouldn't have been able to go. It's been pretty beneficial for us. All of the money raised helps send Scouts to camp.

I think there is something for everybody. There are things for the adults to enjoy as well as the kids. The whole emphasis behind this is to showcase scouting and show what we've got going on ... and to encourage young people who aren't involved in scouting to become involved.
