We played hard all night long. Yeah, we got tired, but we competed all night long.

Socorro has a solid inside game. But I thought they would have but more 3-point attempts; any time you have to worry about both, you have trouble.

He kept working and working but for some reason things just didn't fall into place for him. But he continued to do what we were asking for.

We certainly felt that we could compete for a district championship. Now we'll have to see how that plays out. It's nice to have that advantage of rest and home court, but once the (championship) game starts, that stuff doesn't mean much.

(The district tournament) is just as important as ever. We don't want to get a low seed and end up on the same side of the bracket as St. Mike's.

I think that kind of rattled us.
