We only lost five. But they had been playing together since they were freshmen. We're still working on our strengths and trying to find the right replacements. The girls were a little tenuous at first, but they started doing well and making some good pass combinations.

Defensively, you have four or five guys who have played together at least three years as starters, ... These are highly experienced players who have played with each other since they were freshmen. Defensively, we take a team approach.

Since we turned the corner as a program in 2002, I don't worry about playing freshmen any more. If they're good enough, and need to be out there, they're going to be out there.
