We need to get a little better consistency on offense, but our defense is there every night, and I think we're about ready for the tournament.

I think our areas of deficiency right now have been consistency in both offense and defense but probably more offensively. Our ball control hasn't been consistent, and we have had real breakdowns here and there with out passing, and those are areas we're going to focus a lot on and try to get better. I think, as we increase our offensive efficiency, we will be better.

We played four quarters with consistency and pressure defense. I knew eventually our shots would fall, we're a good shooting team.

Sucked in and turned around by the blades, the night at first flows smoothly, but then it starts to take on a denser consistency. Already the night was nearly halfway through its course, so a good portion of it had hardened. Because of this, as I walked through it, it gave me none of the easy, buoyant feeling you get in the early-evening hours. Something about it seemed creaky. But that was, in its own way, typical of the night too.

The key is consistency of the ice. If you have that then the biggest resistance for the skaters is air.

We're obviously disappointed with the loss but the defense was pretty darn good. We just need more consistency on the offensive end.
