We need fresh, new leadership with bold ideas and a new approach to get more people back to work with quality jobs and restored dignity in the lives of our Utahns.

Do you want to use your tax dollars to educate more people who can't get jobs? I want to make sure that we spend our money where people can get jobs when they get out.

Some people saw (the 1-euro jobs) as a welcome way of working and achieving some form of dignity. But those who had grown up in the German welfare system found it humiliating to be doing serious work and only paid a euro.

People who work with me say I have a four-step response to new ideas: rejection, reconsideration, acceptance, ownership. I need to listen more patiently.

You are not going to have people move here to fill these high-paying jobs unless you have high quality child care.

What we need is more people who specialize in the impossible.
