We moved from a full-court press to a half-court press after the half. They were just too fast for us. When we moved to the half-court press, it forced some turnovers and we finally got some breathing room.

I never read my press when I was competing. I never got caught up in what I was doing at that moment.

We're peaking right now. We are playing fantastic defense.

I've said our goal is either the regional tournament or Austin. They always ask to play an out-of-town tournament. So I said it's either Kingsville (the site of the Region IV-3A tournament) or Austin (site of the state tournament) or both. It's up to them.

We realized there was no way we would be able to win it at that point.

They just couldn't handle that defense. We're excited.
