We missed a lot of chip shots in the first half. We had a lot of good looks but they weren't falling. We missed a lot down the stretch.

Give [Longwood] a lot of credit. They fight and they fight. They're relentless.

They're relentless. Even when we had them down [13-4 early in the second] they keep coming. They find that fourth and fifth gear when they need it.

They played a box and one defense. We never faced it before. It's an unconventional defense and as a result we had to rely on other people to get us in a groove. I liked the resolve of our team. They didn't have to rely on Lindsay and they figured it out.

I don't know if there has ever been a Smithtown team that's started out league play 6-0.
