We met our partners in Europe, and they are signaling to us that supplies from traditional European gas production sources is falling, and falling substantially. Without new volumes of Russian gas, they simply cannot cope.

We are increasing gas supplies to the Russian-Ukrainian border on practically a daily basis, but the shortfall in supplies to Europe is increasing daily and correspondingly the removal of gas in Ukraine is increasing. Ukraine is continuing to take gas that is being exported to Europe.

Ukraine is taking the gas from our European partners. We decided to compensate the stolen gas for our partners.

For Gazprom, 2015 is turning out auspiciously. We already see the possibility for additional investments in our investment program.

Ukraine has reportedly started tapping Russian gas intended for European consumers.

The more traditional fuel sources we have relied on as a nation - coal, oil, and natural gas - I'm hoping they can allow us the financial springboard to move to the next generation of energy sources: renewables and alternatives.
