We lost 11 of our last 14 games. We started out great. But when you have only one pitcher and she's going every game, she'll get fatigued.

Another sound defensive game for us, and that's been our key. If we play sound defense and back up our pitchers then we're coming out on top.

That was huge. We got a little lucky in that inning, but credit to our kids, we were patient and (the pitcher) wasn't throwing strikes so we waited until we got something to hit.

From top to bottom, one through 12, our kids are very talented. We have 12 softball players, which is a nice feeling. A lot of them have played together on Perry's summer league (Northern Illinois Thunder) team.

Things have been a bit wild around here.

Today the team had many opportunities in both games to score but had trouble converting, and we turned the ball over too much leading to goals by the other team.
