We keep track of the number of hits. Starting three weeks ago, we started to get hundreds of thousands of hits. We've been wondering why, but I guess we know now.

I started scoreboard-watching three or four weeks ago; that's when you know things are starting to get interesting. It's not a burden to be playing for the playoffs. This is the time of the year when every game counts, every pitch counts. It's an honor to be able to play for something when other teams are making vacation plans.

When I started, the barrier was 28 weeks. That was 30 years ago, and you would have been considered insane to treat a baby under 28 weeks.

I've started the last three or four weeks so it looks like I'm now the starting wide receiver. But I [couldn't] care less who's starting. It's a matter of winning. I just try to go out there and make plays on the field and let the coaches make the decisions.

It was difficult a week ago, it was difficult two weeks ago, and it was difficult three weeks ago. And now, it's even more difficult. We have to win the games. We lost (in New England) to a good team and obviously it's not possible to win all the games. Sometimes you lose and New England has a good team. I think they're a better team than we are. We lost the game on the field, it's not the end of the world.

I wrote once every two or three weeks for about a year, ... and then about a year ago, I got an e-mail.
