We hope that Merrill Lynch sincerely desires to give teeth to its diversity initiatives and to bring a meaningful change.

It does bring new hope. Change always brings a new vision that will be stronger. There's still far to go.

American radio from the '30s through the '60s was just fabulous. There was such a diversity.

But I would hope however, that the diversity and differences that we have amongst and between us, we should see as a strength and as something we should celebrate rather than fear.

I don't think that the college has gained more diversity because of our change. It certainly is an issue but I feel that it is separate and distinct.

I take as my guide the hope of a saint: in crucial things, unity; in important things, diversity; in all things, generosity.
