We have received reports that the disease is fast spreading to other farms across the state.

All we are saying is that people should not eat chickens that show signs of disease. We advise that chickens should be cooked above 70 degrees Celsius to kill all germs that may be lurking in the meat, including flu.

Nobody says people should stop eating chicken as long as they do not show any sign of infection and as long as they are hygienically prepared.
