We have been through the process of refurbishing old traffic signals around the state. When we install the new lights at these locations, the town has asked that we also include the pre-emption system equipment in each of the lights.

This can be used for new traffic lights or sidewalks or a whole variety of things.

Trying to implement a PLM solution in the middle or the back end of a development cycle adds a degree of complication that may not be worth it.
