We have a very active conservation program. We've had speakers who talk to us about milfoil. We clean our rigs before and after putting them in. If we get caught (with milfoil fragments), it's a fine.

With the Gap Band coming from Oklahoma, other artists would tease us by calling us cowboys. We didn't grow up on a ranch, but we took that style to the stage. We knew that it was corny, but at least it was ours.

I'm heartbroken that they're going to close that ramp. It's a very nice lake, and it's a shame what's happening.

Our three seniors - I wish they had gone out on a little more positive note. They have been tremendous leaders for our team this year. They did a great job.

This is something that they're going to treasure the rest of their lives because not everybody can get to state. This is something they can build on and work at and look at and say, 'Hey, we made it! We got there!' Now it's going to be our job to work and win.

Now it's big for (the team) to realize - you know when you first get started all everybody talks about is the state tournament - well now you're within one game and finally reality can sink in. If we play hard we could do this. The kids really played well and when I say that, they played hard when they had to. We made some key plays, we made some key buckets. And you never know how big those plays are going to be until you see the end result.
