We have a list of probably 500 kids that are missing. The list goes on and on and on.

When they come in, I grab them and I hug them and I ask them if they are thirsty. The stories are unbelievable.

There are children everywhere out there that are lost. The scary thing is the list of children we have that are lost ? not the children that are here, but how many people can't find their children.

Some of them can give us a name. Some of them can't give us a name.

Ready Kids is a tool for parents and teachers to use to be able to speak to their students and children about how to be prepared for any type of disaster.

We talk to the kids for a few minutes about the piece and ask them what they see. Then we get them to compare the image in the piece with their own lives and ask them about symbols they see in it that correspond with symbols from their daily lives.
