We greatly thank the fairgrounds for the use of the space. We understood from the get go there was a time frame.

We closed down adoptions for about a week. We don't want to place an animal unless we can be absolutely sure we can screen potential owners properly.

I knew we would be able to work something out. The real question was to keep them in one central area. It makes it easier to keep track of their medical conditions and make sure they're placed appropriately.

When she took me into the room, she asked if I could fill the space. I said, 'certainly,' and we have so much more than what is on display.

We hope the new space will attract a more diverse audience because it is a nicer place to view the art.
