We finally got some off of Shaw. We have struggled against her this year.

Their upperclassmen made plays and ours struggled to convert on those 24 turnovers.

They woke up in the second game. That was the difference between game one and two. They hit the ball in both games, we just hit it in the second.

Whitney was very much in control out there. She wasn't overpowering, but you have to know that you're not going to strike everybody out.

Whitney did a good job of mixing things up. We have talked about that (wasting solid pitching performances). We have a good enough pitching staff to keep us in games. We have to start hitting the ball better.

We finally hit the ball (during the rally) and were able to score a few runs, but we can't expect to win games in the seventh inning.
