We edited out a few of the drums because of the size of the stage. The piece has to do with calligraphy and motion, linear motion.

I had the honor of knowing Elmer. He was a very special individual, and his most generous gift of Sanctuary Cove to humanity is a treasure to be protected and revered. Elmer's intention was that the Cove be a place for people to come, to step away from the bustle of the world and quietly reflect in a place of serenity. Elmer felt that the experience of the Sanctuary could inspire others to create such havens in our chaotic world.

I was able to go into the building in the '80s when it was all closed and boarded up. I thought it was an incredible old building, and I was just hoping that someone would pick it up and restore it. We really wanted to put something together for the Fox.

The intensity of doing a piece of this size is daunting.

Now we're going to be four piece. Two drums — just like the Allman Brothers and the Grateful Dead! .. We've known (the Big Business) guys for a long time. It's not like they're going to quit Big Business or anything like that. When we tour, we're hoping that they'll open.
