We don't have to do this to get accredited, but when (North Central) reviews the materials they look for how we are sure students are competent in areas. Every university is faced with accountability.

When I walked into the building I did notice the odor primarily in the north end of the building and somewhat in the center area. I did not notice it in the south area or the east area and slightly in the auditorium, not as much as other people had reported on the day of the survey. Obviously odors change over time.

When the reviews are bad I tell my staff that they can join me as I cry all the way to the bank

It's like obituaries, when you die they finally give you good reviews.

I have little or no concern at how people interpret my writing, my only concern is to write it.

It would be a black eye if we got a negative report after being accredited for 10 years.
