We've said it before and we'll say it again: This is not a trial about us.

We weren't comfortable about the Board of Elections hiring someone that a county department had fired for cause, but we do not control the hiring practices of the elections board, which is technically a state entity.

It's important for us to start doing pilot project studies to deal with some of these issues and look for the most cost-effective method.

What gets left out is the narrative between the bullets, which would tell us who's going to do what and how we're going to achieve the generic goals on the list.

They literally do nothing except bring the item to us.
