We didn't want to score too quick because it would have given (quarterback Adam Sanchez) enough time to maybe go down and score and a 2-point conversion to tie it. So we had some plays to just run the clock down.

Justus is very much a work in progress, ... but he's getting better all the time.

I enjoyed about 25 minutes of that game. For that time we matched the intensity of the Florida Lady Gators. But at that time their energy stepped up - probably because of the mistakes we made - and they were consistent.

It was a horrible time. Dirt drifted up and covered barbed-wire fences. Conditions were much worse than they are today because we have learned a lot about soil conservation in 70 years.
